IT'S SUMMER READING TIME!!

MAKE WAVES TO THE LIBRARY 
THIS SUMMER! 

Join the Summer Reading Program - it's free and it's fun! Visit the library beginning June 29, or join online at www.readalot.us. You can even sign up for most of our fabulous summer events online!

This year, every child who completes the program earns a FREE book. Each week we’ll also raffle off a basket of goodies, and there will be a Grand Prize raffle at the end of the program. ALL children can join, ages birth and up! We hope we'll see you soon!

TOUCH-A-TRUCK DAY!

Wednesday, Jun 30, 10 AM-Noon @ the Coventry High School Parking Lot

Co-sponsored by Coventry Parks & Recreation. Get an up-close and personal look at trucks! Ask the drivers questions and beep some horns! Everyone is welcome. While checking out the trucks, kids will also have the opportunity to sign up for the Summer Reading Program. No registration is required. Rain or shine. The library reserves the right to end the program early in the event of inclement weather.

COMING SOON! Make A Splash! Read! Summer Reading Program

Summertime is almost here, and we hope you make waves to the library to join our Summer Reading Program! It's called MAKE A SPLASH! READ!, and registration begins online and in the library on June 29. ALL children can join, ages birth and up! Children may participate by having someone read to them.

This year, every child who completes the program earns a FREE book.

How To Clean Your Room In 10 Easy Steps by Jennifer Huget

For those of us with less than tidy rooms (you know who you are!) this laugh-out-loud picture-book guide to cleaning your room is sure to make picking up a snap. Children's Choice Book Awards Winners Announced!

The Children's Book Council (CBC) in association with Every Child a Reader, Inc. (the CBC Foundation), announced the winners of the third annual Children's Choice Book Awards at a gala in New York City on May 11. Children across the country voted for their favorite books, author, and illustrator at bookstores, school libraries, and at www.BookWeekOnline.com, casting over 115,000 votes.
